Cricket Betting at tk10 — bet on every format from BPL to T20 World Cup
tk10 brings a wide cricket betting experience for cricket fans in Bangladesh. Bet on your favourite matches before they start or live in-play — whenever you like.
Three Cricket Formats and Popular Tournaments
Cricket's three main formats — T20, One Day International (ODI) and Test match — each offer a different betting experience. T20 is the fastest-paced, where the match can turn in any over, making it the best format for live betting. In ODI, the mid-innings stage gives you time to weigh up run rate and wickets before placing a bet. Because Test matches run over five days, the betting approach is different — end-of-day scores and session-based betting tend to work better here.
The most popular tournament among Bangladesh fans is BPL, where local cricketers play together and local interest is at its highest. IPL brings together some of the best players in the world, while interest in betting across the country rises noticeably when the Bangladesh Tigers take part in the ICC T20 World Cup and other international series.
tk10 covers matches from all these tournaments, so you can bet on every match from the first BPL game right through to international Test series.
Football and Other Sports Betting
Alongside cricket, tk10 also offers betting on football and several other sports. Football betting works a little differently — a draw is a valid result, so the match winner market has three options (Team A wins / Draw / Team B wins), whereas in limited-overs cricket the outcome is simply a win or a loss between two teams.
Handicap betting is more common in football because it helps bridge the gap between stronger and weaker teams. In cricket, run lines and total runs over/under markets serve a similar purpose. Because goals are relatively rare in football, each one carries a lot of weight; in cricket, runs accumulate steadily, so live odds shift every minute.
Popular Betting Markets at tk10
Cricket betting offers many different types of markets. Below is a brief overview of the seven most common ones.
Match Winner
Pick which of the two teams will win. In T20 or ODI there is no draw, so it is simply Team A or Team B — two options. For example, if you bet on Team B to win and they do, you receive your full return; if they lose, your entire stake is gone.
Toss Winner
Bet on which team will win the toss before the match starts. This is a completely independent market from the main game — odds are usually almost equal because the probability is the same for both sides.
Top Run Scorer
Predict which batsman will score the most runs for a team. For example, you pick a specific batsman to be the top scorer for Team A. Because there are multiple options, odds are comparatively higher.
Total Runs Over/Under
Bet on whether the total score in a match will be above or below a set run target. For example, whether the total runs will be more than 160 — the form of the batsmen and pitch conditions are key factors here.
Multi Bet
Add selections from more than one match on the same slip. You win the full payout only if all selections are correct. For example, betting on three matches at odds of 1.60, 1.70 and 1.80 gives combined odds of 4.90 (1.60 × 1.70 × 1.80) — a ৳100 stake returns ৳490 if all three are correct, but if any one result is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
Opening Partnership Runs
Bet on how many runs the two openers will score together at the start of an innings. In T20, a fast opening partnership sets the tone for the match, so this market attracts a lot of interest. You can bet on whether the partnership will go above or below a set run target — two options.
Next Wicket Type
Bet while the match is in progress — how the next wicket will fall (bowled, caught, run out, etc.) or in which over it will fall. This market moves with the flow of the game and is one of the most dynamic betting options in cricket.

How to Read and Understand Odds
There are three common odds formats in betting — Decimal, Fractional and American. tk10 generally uses the decimal format, but all three formats express the same information in different ways.
Decimal 3.00 = Fractional 2/1 = American +200
If you win, you get back ৳1,500 (৳1,000 profit + ৳500 original stake); if you lose, ৳500 is gone.
Decimal 1.80 = Fractional 4/5 = American −125
A minus American odds figure tells you how much you need to stake to win ৳100 — here it is ৳125. On a ৳500 stake, a win returns ৳900 (৳400 profit).
Decimal odds are the easiest to read — multiply your stake by the odds to calculate your return. In fractional format, the left number is the profit and the right number is the original stake. In American format, + indicates the underdog (lower probability) and − indicates the favourite.
| Format | Team A | Team B |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 3.00 | 1.80 |
| Fractional | 2/1 | 4/5 |
| American | +200 | −125 |
| Return on ৳500 stake | ৳1,500 | ৳900 |
Team A and Team B are generic names used as examples. These are not live or confirmed odds — they are for illustration only.
Live In-Play Betting — Bet While the Match is On
Live in-play betting is the most fast-moving part of cricket. Every over, every wicket and every boundary during a match affects the odds. When a wicket falls, the odds against the batting team rise and the odds for the bowling team come down.
In the last five overs of a T20 match, if a team is chasing 60 runs with 4 wickets in hand, the odds shift dramatically. A big shot over the boundary moves things one way; a wicket moves them the other — odds are reset after every event.
During live betting at tk10 you can use the scorecard and match status to inform your decisions. Keep in mind that live betting requires quick decisions — consider the current situation carefully before placing a bet and follow the responsible betting guidelines.
Practical Advice for Cricket Betting
- Start with one market: The match winner market is the most straightforward for new bettors. Get comfortable with one market before moving on to others.
- Set a budget: Decide on a budget for each match or week in advance and stay within it. Betting is a form of entertainment — avoid placing repeated bets to chase losses.
- Adjust your approach by format: In T20, the toss and pitch matter a lot; in Test matches, squad depth and weather have more influence. Consider the characteristics of each format separately.
- Be careful with multi bets: Multi bets can offer higher potential returns but carry higher risk. If any one of the three selections is wrong, the entire stake is lost.
- Do not rush in live betting: Live odds change quickly. Analyse the current situation before placing a bet rather than acting in a hurry.
- Know the rules and terms: It is a good idea to read tk10's terms and conditions before you start betting, especially regarding bonus use.
